Sonya Cogan has been a professional photographer since 1993. She has dedicated her life to perfecting the art and science of photography. Sonya is very ethical, is fun to work with, and has reasonable fees, all while providing her customers beautiful and unique images. Her work has appeared in and on the covers of such magazines and publications as: Billboard, New Mexico Woman, Albuquerque The Magazine, Cowboys & Indians, New Mexico Business Weekly, New Mexico Business Magazine, Broker Agent, Living Natural, On The Scene, and Orlie's Lowriding. Sonya has also photographed celebrity weddings in Las Vegas, including but not limited to John Taylor of Duran Duran and retired NBA player Rodney "Rod" Strickland. She also photographed Nicole Falsone Ms. United States 2005 for many years.

     Sonya has shot thousands of weddings in many states across America and really enjoys working with brides and grooms, and their families. Through her love of wedding photography she has also gained a world of knowledge and experience in the wedding industry as a whole.

     She also photographs family portraits, pregnancy portraits, and pet portraits. “People tell me all the time that it’s been many years since they have had a nice family portrait taken, or creative portraits with their loving pets, and how glad they were to have had a session with me.” Sonya has a Great Dane named Oliver, and through her incredible love of animals now does pet portraits both by themselves and with their loving owners. She also photographs pregnancy portraits before and after the baby is born. “This is a very special time and I’m happy to create images that will last a lifetime.”
